Our approach
Opening the water to new uses, people and opportunity
The Royal Docks Waterways sets out how these historic docks can support vibrant communities, new homes, and year-round activity, while also contributing to the stewardship and maintenance of essential dock infrastructure.
The vision for Royal Victoria Dock West will transform the Royal Docks into a vibrant, accessible waterborne park, enhancing quality of life, biodiversity, and public space while supporting new homes and economic growth.

As the most visible part of the docks, it will host lively, high-quality public life through a balanced, masterplanned approach.
Three key interventions, floating wellness, park, and residential, will expand access to water while preserving openness and event capacity.
We operate, maintain and develop the Royal Docks to ensure they are safe, sustainable and relevant for the future.
