Life At Royal Docks Waterways
Working at Royal Docks Waterways means being part of something genuinely different. We care for and activate 4 kilometres of historic waterways, and the people who do that work take real pride in the place they look after.

Culture
A team that takes its work seriously
We are small enough that everyone’s contribution matters and large enough to take on complex, long-term challenges. We support each other, work collaboratively, and hold ourselves to high standards because the docks deserve nothing less.

Community
Connected to the place we work in
The Royal Docks is not just a workplace. It is a living waterway in a community that is growing and changing. We are proud to play an active part in that, supporting local initiatives and being a visible, responsible presence on the water.
Current Vacancies
We advertise all roles here as they become available. If nothing is listed that suits you right now, keep checking back or get in touch to register your interest.
Electrical Engineer
An opportunity exists for an Electrical Engineer to join Royal Docks Waterways.
The Engineer will join a small well-established team to provide the planned maintenance, defect rectification, and support for all electrical / mechanical equipment associated with the estate. This will include, but not limited to, five bridges (bascule, fixed & swing), power generation room, sewage plant, pumping station, craft lock, main lock/gates, and associated power pack rooms.
The post holder will work within the engineering team whilst providing technical support to the Engineering Project Manager and operational support as required, ensuring that work is completed with minimal disruption to the service provided and in a timely/cost effective manner
